| So, today is Saturday
which means we have an hour show to cut for ABC Sports. That means everyone
is VERY busy today so we thought we'd give you a flavour of the event. |

Here's the finish line, the crowds
usually begin to gather before we arrive. They are entertained with music,
clowns and race commentary as they wait for the race finish. |

There is always a big screen on hand
to allow the fans to keep track of the race. |

About an hour before the Peleton arrives,
the caravan comes through. The caravan is a bunch of wacky vehicles filled
with beautiful girls and freebies for the crowd. It as at this point in
the day that the crowd become a pack of wild animals who fight over cheap
hats like they were gold bars! The vehicle shown here is truck that carries
the tour band, they always go first. |
