Paris

Well, we all swore we'd never do it again but we all did! The 'we' we are referring to is the entire broadcast crew from ESPN/ABC Sports coverage of the Tour de France 2000. We thought it might be nice to make an on-line journey of our incredible month spent following the tour around France, so this site is the result!

So as we followed the tour around france, the site was updated on a daily basis. We used a digital camera along the way to take some pictures so you can see the other side of the tour!
Family and friends of the crew are able to send messages as will anyone who wishes to converse with us, just mail us at letour@madeinvideo.com Please note that all of the crew can read the incoming mail as it is an open mailbox, you have been warned!
The crew assembled for the tour splits into two teams, the start line team and the finish line team, ensuring coverage of all race aspects. We also have our own 'Moto' camera team following the riders down the course.
After spending the day recording, logging, cutting and editing the final show for transmission back to the US at around 8.00pm local time, the whole crew will move to the finish line of the next race. The tour is full of long days and hard work, but the crew have fun whenever they can fit it in!

By clicking a dot on the map you can see the story of that day, be aware that the start dot and the finish dot will bring up the same page due to the fact they are on the same day!

Meet The Crew!
